PINK LADIES INVADE CHESTER HOTEL

A Chester hotel and spa was invaded last week by a horde of pink-clad party-goers, who raised thousands for Breast Cancer Care in the process. 

Hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester, almost 150 guests attended the Pink Party, including local magician Nick Marshall who wowed guests.

Nail technicians from The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall and make-up artists from Max Factor were there to help glam the event up, while Marco Pierre White, The Laugh Inn and Chlobo Jewellery all donated prizes for the raffle. 

Organiser and Sales Consultant at the Doubletree Charlotte Clague said: “The whole idea of the party was that we spent nothing and managed to raise a generous amount of money for Breast Cancer Care. This is a cause really close to my heart – my best friend’s mum is fighting breast cancer, and though we do the Race for Life every year, I wanted to make this year extra special.

“The evening went great, nearly everything sold out and everyone loved the magician. We raised £2500 on the night and this is going to be matched by MBNA. Overall we should have over £5000 to donate, which is just amazing.”

We’re really proud of Charlotte for doing this – she did an incredible job - and prouder still to have done it for such a fantastic charity.”
